Chorus

     I love singing a lot, I do not even think I have a good singing voice I just sing because its fun. Chorus class is really fun because I get to sing and make friends who like to sing. My last director was the best director ever, her name is Miss. Harmon. She always had patience with everyone's singing ability to sing (or lack of ability). We always have so much fun in class, I have made some great friends in chorus. 

     We prepare all semester for our concert near the end, we also perform at some assemblies. When we get closer to the concert we buckle down and have to make sure we have everything perfect. The concerts are always really fun though, just to use your voice and make beautiful music with other people is my favorite part!Sadly i only had chorus one semester, but thankfully I made it into women's  choir and still get to practice after school with some of my friends. 

Goals and Dreams

     There are certain goals most people want to achieve, like finishing high school and going to collage.  There are some dreams that people have that they never take steps to reach. Dreams like writing a book., moving away, or even becoming a musician. These things don't have a definitive handbook for everyone and people rarely go through with them. On the other hand, getting the education necessary for the job you want has plenty of guides. Having your goals achieved can also make your dreams easier to catch.

      The struggle for education is not something Americans, like me, have had to deal with. There are ways to get education everywhere, libraries and the internet are very accessible and schools are everywhere. This is not the same for all countries though, there is a struggle for education all over the world. I know very little about this, but it would be something interesting to investigate someday.

     Work experience can get you places in the job you want, I have very little work experience. The only experience I have had  is volunteering for events for the Roanoke County Civics Center. Reading habits can effect your ambition for knowledge and thus your ambition to succeed. There are many factors that go into achieving your goals and dreams, and education is a big one. 

Ava's Demon

Ava's Demon is a web comic (still in progress) created by Michelle Czajkowski. Ava's demon takes place   in the year 3031 on another planet. The web comic's main character is a girl in high school named Ava. Ava has been plagued by what she calls a demon ever since she was a baby, she is the only one that can see her.

 The name of her demon is Wrathia, although Ava doesn't find this out till later in the story despite living with her for 15 years.

Her demon (seen right) is always putting her down and trying make make her commit suicide. Ava gets in trouble constantly because Wrathia can take control of her body for short periods of time. Wrathia makes her say and do things to people to make them hate her.

     The story begins with Ava getting in trouble and going to the principles office. Through what the principle says, you can tell this has happened a lot. Ava gets kicked out of school and is about to be sent to a special needs school when the planet gets attacked.

     Ava ends up escaping the planet with her life, and ends up watching the planet blow up from space.

Doctor Who

Doctor Who is the British science fiction show shown on the BBC. Doctor Who was first broadcast on television in 1963. The main plot is the story of a man named The Doctor and his companions. The Doctor is an alien called a time lord, he has a time traveling machine called the T.A.R.D.I.S.. That stands for time and relative dimensions in space. Doctor Who is split into two sections, "New Who" which is the seasons that have came out since 2009 and "Old Who" which is the older episodes. There is a time gap between "New Who" and "Old Who". People also identify era's in doctor who by the actors playing the doctor. Whenever The Doctor is about to die he regenerates and gets a new face. People simply identify the different doctors by the number in which they appeared.

The Doctor ends up going up against the odds and saving the earth from evil aliens many times. Despite him being alone for some time, The Doctor could not do anything without his companions. One of my favorite quotes comes from Doctor Who " In my 900 years I'v never met anyone who wasn't important". I recommend this show to anyone.

Gravity Falls

      Gravity Falls is an animated show that comes on Disney channel. The show is about twins, Dipper and Mabel, that move in with there 'Grunkle' Stan for the summer. He lives in a town called Gravity Falls and owns a tourist trap called the Mystery Shack. 

   

   Everything is fine until one day Dipper finds a mysterious book that has details of many supernatural creatures and happenings. The author of the book being a complete mystery, a mystery that Dipper wants to solve. 

    

     After this many crazy things keep happening to Dipper and Mabel. Ghosts, gnomes, video games come to life and clones soon become just another part of everyday life. Gravity Falls, despite being broadcast on a kids channel, soon became an internet sensation. People, no matter what age, fell in love with the show. Personally my favorite character is Mabel, she is always happy and upbeat.

Favorite Character from Homestuck

     Homestuck is a webcomic writen and drawn by Andrew Hussie. This webcomic has been going on for years it started in 2009 and is still being writen today. The comic is about four kids who play a computer game togeather that involves the ending of earth, multiple time lines, different universes and many other characters. In one of the other universes is a race of humanoids called trolls. They are not like fairy tale trolls, they are basicly humans with grey skin, hornes, and yellow in there eyes instead of white.

     My favorite troll is Karkat Vantas. On the troll planet 'Alternia' they deside royalty by blood color. Brown and 'Rust' blood being very low and blue and purples being very high, deep purple is royalty. Karkat is a mutant with red blood, he dosnt fit into the hierchy. He tries and hide his blood color by not putting his blood color everywhere like all the other trolls. The other trolls even type in there blood color, wile karkat types in grey.

     Karkat is the self proclamed leader of the group of trolls. Gamzee Makara (top row, third column) is my second favorite character and Karkat's best friend. In the begining of the story Karkat dosnt like Gamzee and finds him annoying, but as the story progresses he and Gamzee catch "this disease called friendship"

     Terezi Pyrope (top row, second column) is Karkat's main love interest, many things get in the way, including the complexety of troll romance (but we wont go into that). All the other characters are very inmortant to the story and development of Karkat. He goes from being annoying and rude to becoming nice and even though he dosn't want to admit it, he starts to really care about all his friends.
